Unknown Happiness

Unknown Happiness

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)

Heart thumps fast,
As though it’s going to avast,
Nothing great has really happened
This mixed feeling has within me deepened…

The feeling of unknown happiness
Inside me, blooms this joy of sweetness,
It’s like flying up and high
Spreading my wings, to touch the sky.

This fantasy curves my lips and spreads across the smile,
I know this wont stay long, and will disappear in awhile
For we sometimes, feel blithe and know not why,
I know, am feeling crazy, which I will not deny..

Sometimes I know not why am like this
But this feeling is unique and is like bliss,
You would have sure felt this, at least once in your lifetime
Accepting the truth, is not going to cost you a dime!
