The Heart Vs. The Brain

Randonm thoughts compiled together...

 

 

The Heart is a soft creature,

fervently filled with endless emotions,

It is easily duped and easily devoted,

filled with anxiety, fear, love and passion,

the heart can bind two complete strangers,

It can separate a close relation,

At times it is loud and earnestly excited,

Sometimes all of a sudden it is mysteriously silent....

 

 

The Brain whereas is a clever creature,

Thought, contemplation being its relations,

Every step it takes with care and caution,

So that at the end there is nothing to repent,

It has a better sense of the right and the wrong,

And leads us to the path of honour,

Always on an alert no matter the hour,

the Brain should be trusted over the Heart is my thought...

I think we should take both the ♥ and the brain into consideration.. Rational and irrational go hand in hand.. Sometimes taking a leap of faith is what can make all the difference !!

powerful emotions in these beautiful lines... Heart and Mind don't get together so well sometimes and often take opposite sides... This is a big dilemma faced by me and sure others too... I depend more on my heart though but I'll try to trust my Brain n see the outcome for sure!!! The end is fantastic and it teaches as well... WOw!

well, to be frank, i was not so impressed by this poem, its like mere comparison and not a poetry, maybe it could be framed better by adding some rhyming or something that will make it interesting to read... like other piece of writing like yours, don't take this comment as offense, its that i have read many other poems of yours so expect much more from you.
