Facing Down The Sun

Facing Down The Sun

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Facing Down The Sun

being born isn't easy,

and you faced horrors

from day one...

but tomorrow is another

chance at soaring,

so why not go on

facing down the sun

Easy to get blinded or burned, take lotza sunscreen and a pair of sades.

This put a smile on my face.

What a brilliant line! Facing down the sun. Love it! Love it! Love it! Of course, it didn't work to well for Icarus. :) Well done.

I like that.
It's got a cool title.
It makes me think of a title for a novel.
Facing another day also.
Short to the point and an encouraging read.
Nice
