I'm in love

When we kiss I can almost see white doves

He deals with me in my anger

He's my anchor

He helps me when my heads in the clouds

I can pick him out of crowds

His long blond hair glows like the sun

Better than him? There is none

His eyes are a beautiful brown

He always tries to make me smile when I frown

He keeps me safe from harm

There is no place safer than his arms

He keeps me warm in the night

And he just holds me in his arms when I try to fight

He loves me for me

And I want him to see

I love him for him

And this is not just a whim.
