About Me

"The poet...is not nearly so concerned with describing facts as with creating images and establishing mental connections."
from the book "Uncertainty" by David Lindley

I'm in love with metaphors. Often, I interweave multiple stories within a singlular poem. Rarely, are my verses fictional. Never are they completely factual. Occasionally, they might just be.

If Pablo Neruda & Charles Bukowski had a poetic love child--I might be it. haha

I get asked about my various arts: "What inspires you?"

Nature, in all it's mystery and magnificance.
My lovers inspire me--for better or for worse.
I often have lines begging to be written while I drive, so the body in motion and the sights along the way stir something inside of me.

I have always heard only the first couple minutes of that song, but nearly cried when I just watched it all the way through simply due to how well I could relate to his words and emotions. Do you understand why he is my inspiration now? Haha.

Hi, thanks for your friendship.

"Crown Court Censored Poet" (2009-2014)
Using Poetry I fought back against family racism, directed towards my newborn mixed race Daughter. Crown court then censored that poetry for five years.

I used my own photography from the beginning of my posts up until New Age Nostalgia...from there on I am using images from the Internet (for now), because it was quicker/easier that way.

Frustrates me...i don't know what it is about this site...but I previously heard from a reader that my text was too small for reading--he was right, however, when I go through the task of changing the size (which I often can not simply do by editing on here, I often have to change the size in my document and re-copy/paste/post), then it appears way too large on some computers. drats!!!!
