thank you for the mulitple reviews... you're right... the hope one could probably be extrapolated a bit more... though it was strictly off the cuff... no big deal... glad i didn't disappoint on the other one though. ;)

Thanks for the recent review on my article on writing. I do aim these mostly toward inexperienced or struggling writers, so the information may seem a little elementary for someone with more skill or confidence. I appreciate the fact that you did not blow smoke up my a*s with 5 stars when you thought I deserved 3. Honesty is more important to me than ego.

Clarity of purpose is the start - the purpose is the reason why the character is opening his mouth at that moment in the story and that purpose needs to be symmetrically underestood by both the charachter and the writer - then comes efficiency who's weight is equal to clarity - that is my opinion -
