- Level of _____ (this deals with what emotional I believe you are trying to convey based on word choices and how well I believe those word choices fit into that feeling)
- How well the emotion is conveyed? (Did I feel the way I believed you were trying to get me to feel?)
- Is it interesting to me? (I have a wide range of interests from the very happy: love, inspirational, etc. to my favorites - the dark stuff: serial killers, dystopian, horror, thriller, and more - Just because you don't think I would think it is interesting doesn't mean you shouldn't enter - you never know as I said I have a wide range of interests)
- How long does it feel in relation to the actual length? (this can relate to my interest level but even a topic I love that goes on forever can get a low score here. A topic I don't enjoy as much, but is shorter could get a high score here.)

Thank you for everyone that submits a piece of their work. I hope that if you view this contest you decide to enter. I am starting my senior year of high school on Monday, August 26th so if there are delays in picking winners that is why. I will be checking regularly and reading as they come in to minimize the risk of reading fatigue impacting the last score. If the amount of submissions exceeds 50, I will likely end the contest early to minimize the stress of reading them all, so don't delay submitting. Thanks again for entering!
