Council master: Foolish child! What do you hope to gain from this? We have an entire fleet en route for Earth, now. As far as you are concerned, how do you ever hope to make it out of here alive?

Council member 3: Wait...let's not kill her. With her power, she would make an excellent new host for Cain...

Alyanta felt her heart beat increase within her chest, she had anticipated them wanting to kill her, but not to implant her with Cain. Slowing her breath, she lifted her chin, "It is you who will not live to leave this building. You are vile and soon your own people will know the extent of your inequities." She paused as she looked in their eyes, they were not afraid of her... not yet. "But I do not need all of you to make that point. For my people," she speaks to all of them as she explodes the mind of one. He collapses onto the table in front of him, green blood leaking from his mouth and ears. "For the humans you have slaughtered," she speaks to them all again as she does the same with the next.

Meanwhile, Sitkar was being tied down to a large table in the center of the execution square. A crowd of Galatians surrounded the area, and began chanting, "Traitor! Traitor!" A Galatian judge stood at the podium, and raised a hand to silence the crowd. "Sitkar," he said, "you have been found guilty of high treason against the Galatian Empire...the highest offence that our civilization recognizes. In keeping with our tradition, the penalty for this offence is death. Your skin will be sliced from your bones while you yet live, so that when you die, you will die without your Galatian skin. A grievous dishonor, for the most dishonorable of offences." The crowd cheered. "Let the execution commence!" The judge said. The executioner approached with a flaying knife in his hand.

(Since I think it's the middle of night for Bri, maybe we should do this part) As the executioner approached General Sitkar with his knife in hand, ready to begin stripping his skin, McKloud burst onto the scene. His pole axe was swinging, taking down Galatians with every movement. Thick green blood now dripped from the menacing weapon and splattered his form. He massacred his way to the center of the square where Sitkar was bound to the table and sliced through the thick cords that held him down, before once again turning his blade into any Galatian that was close enough to feel its bite. His face never changed as he killed, the same ice cold glare throughout.

(If that's no good feel free to add or create something different lol... You're much better at the battle scenes than I am)

Sitkar leaped up and grabed a plasma pistol from one of the fallen soldiers.  He began firing it, on its lethal setting, at the galatian soldiers which were coming for him.  Mckloud and Sitkar killed all of the soldiers present.  For the first time, a human and a galatian stood side-by-side in battle.

In the names of Diana, General Gant, and even herself and her own lost innocence, Alyanta killed three more of the Council members until only one yet lived. "You," she told him, the youngest and newest Council member, "I will let live if you tell your people what you did to General Gant and how he truly died." She heard the pounding on the outer door. The guard would not be able to hold out the soldiers for much longer.

McKloud glanced at the old General as he sliced the executioner nearly in half. "I assume you're Alyanta's friend. We're to meet her in the Council building, but there's a squad of soldiers gathering there." He spoke calmly as he ducked under the blades of the Galatian soldiers, cutting through limbs and torsos, green blood spraying left and right.

Sitkar agreed and followed Mckloud toward the council room, blasting his way through Galatian soldiers along the way.

Backing the Council room the soldiers had just burst in the outer doors and rushed the guards to attempted to block them. They charge the inner room, their plasma weapons drawn and set to kill. Alyanta resisted her first instinct yo scream and duck, and instead turned and commanded into as many minds as he could. "Stop! Throw down your weapons and hear you leader!" Some of them obeyed, some of them merely hesitated, while some still aimed their weapons at her, looking at their comrades in confusion. "Into the last surviving Council members mind she spoke, "Tell them, or die." She was now surrounded by Galatian soldiers, so she hoped with all her hit that her plan would work.

"Tell them," she demanded, a bit relieved as more soldiers lowered their weapons, "what you did to their General."

The galatian soldiers looked at each other and the council member.  One of them, presumably a major, spoke up and said, "You sound like you have something to hide, your honor.  What happened to Gant?"  The council member was still reluctant to say anything...that is, until he felt his brain starting to swell.

Council Member:  All right, all right!  It was the cells of Cain.  We injected Gant with the cells of Cain.  Cain overtook Gant's body...Gant has actually been Cain since about two months into the war.  Gant was dead long ago...

Major:  Cain?  The Cain?  Our murderous forefather?  How?  How did you even...It doesn't matter.  I served under Gant since he was a lieutenant.  You have no honor.  That should be you down there being sliced open.  ...Sitkar was right...(The Major raised his plasma pistol and shot the council member between the eyes.)

The Major pulled out his com-link and ordered all Galatian forces at the headquarters to cease fire.  He also ordered the immediate release of General Sitkar (not that it would matter, he had already escaped.)

With one last look at the dead council member, Alyanta turned to the soldier, "Your people are leaderless now, Major. They will be looking to fill that void, and they will need honorable men to do so." She hoped those would be the kind of men to step up, but at least it has already begun. "The remains of Cains body are still being kept somewhere. It will need to be destroyed so that this can never happen again."
