About Me

I am a Christian, regularly attending a Baptist church in Harrisburg, Illinois where I reside with my husband. I'm also an Independent Living Specialist, providing services to people with disabilities.

I am also a formerly published writer. My previous works, The Looking Glass: Facing the Bad Ghost, and The Looking Glass: Curse of Reverse Synchronicity, that were published in 2010 and 2011, are now in the process of revision, as I was not happy with the overall content.

Now that I am very happily married to the most wonderful husband in the world, I find I am so busy with my very fulfilled life that I don't write as much any more. But I do want to write a book about my favourite cat, Oscar, whom I lost with my home back in 2013.

My husband says I should write the story with a different outcome, a happier one, and in that way, Oscar might live forever, in a sense.

But until then, I am currently working on re-publishing my first two novels aforementioned, LG1 and LG2. Those two works will be forthcoming before the one about Oscar, because it's only fair that I don't abandon anything previously written. To do so would be folly and a waste.

Just so you all know ...

I'm not online a lot, as I have a very busy life with many responsibilities. If I don't respond as quickly as you would expect, my apologies. Rest assured I will respond as soon as I am able.

In 2013, I lost everything, including a home, prized possessions, my career, and my beloved cats. I was homeless for a time, living in homeless shelters in Southern Illinois, all the while, God promising me that He would restore me.

Now, four years later, I have a home, a wonderful husband whom I love and who loves me in return. The possessions I have now are nearly as much as I had before, and some are even better! It has not been my doing; none of it would be without the love of my Lord, Who had mercy on me when I was yet hostile toward Him.
I am living proof that the Lord gives and He takes away, and He also is able to restore you beyond anything you can possibly imagine! Praise be to His Name!
I am soon to begin writing a book about my cat, Oscar... stay tuned for some of this work.
