The King And Queen.

The King And Queen.

A Poem by A Risen Heroine.

I watched you in awe; you were my king

I was your queen

Together we sat on our thrones

As we sat there; staring into each others eyes

The whole world disappeared, everything else didn’t matter

An electric shock ran down my spine, every each time your gentle fingers touched my cheek

Your lips; the touch of a feather

Your arms were my castle

Your heart my sky

All out of sudden a serpent crept up to him, winded up to his ear and whispered

“Dear King do it, take a chance, I’ll save your royal a*s.”

The whole world were shaking of the kings choice

A Raven rose from his Queens mouth

A dead body hit the floor, his lovely queen fell

Now he knows, what he did was wrong.

Temptation's darkest hour, to put at risk someone who truly loves the owner of the palace.
Very good beginning...inspired and genuine; the ending came as a surprising defeat, a crushing blow to one so enchanted as she, the Queen.

Well done...!
