Darling Oh Darling.

Darling Oh Darling.

A Poem by A Risen Heroine.

Darling oh darling

I'm fine without you

Your shoal of insults made me see

That I had had enough.

Been entering the unknown spaces

Had a knife shoved in my back as I walked in

I should have said

"It's over!"
When you screamed at me the very first time.

"You'll walk away empty handed!!"
Maybe, maybe not
I have something you don't;
True friends

Friends who trust you

Friends who loves you for you

Friends who'd give up everything;

Just to see you smile
Will I walk away empty handed?

Do not come crawling up to me

You know I've burned my hands multiple times
I won't offer you an empty seat next to me

"Please... I beg of you Heroine..."
I have to refuse

"Once a mistake
Twice a fools error
Three times you're a dummy."

Darling oh darling

You have to realize;

I am perfectly fine without you.

Your logic and words are true in this poem. Sometime we need a distance from people who desire little but steal our hope and love. A strong ending to a outstanding poem.
