What''s Inside

In the inside of us 
There is the true us
The part of us that knows who we are
There is this part of us
That knows what it means to be whole
That knows what it means to be connected
To everyone and everything
There is this part of us that doubts
There is this part of that forgets who we are
Just how beautiful
Just how wonderful
Just how magnificent
Every single one of us is on this planet
We let the world tell us that we are less then who we really are
We have this part of ourselves that tells us we aren't worth it
That we should just give up
That we aren't worth fighting for
That it might be easier if we stopped fighting
If we gave in
If we gave up yourself
If you gave up to fit in
So that you wouldn't have to feel afraid or alone
For feeling different
For feeling like the outcast
But there is always that part of us that knows
Even if the world might not see
And even if you might not see yourself
There is always that part of you
Just waiting to break out and be free
You just have to accept it
And once you can accept it
And see it for what it is
You can start to connect with yourself again
And you can start to help others
To find that truth as well
