Daddy, please

Daddy, please

A Poem by AleyshaRosa

A poem I hoped I'd never have to write

Daddy, please

Please release

Your unreasonableness

Your unforgiving

And let me come home

Come home to my abode

Where I belong

It’s been so long

Do you miss me?

Do you cry for me?

Don’t you see the truth?

Deep beneath the muse?

Daddy, please

I beg of you

Let me come home.

A painful reality that nobody should have to endure, yet so many of us must. You're not alone in this predicament. Well-said and well-written.

Beautifully sad my friend, I felt the loss and pain in this one, you write from your heart, I can say.

Home is were you will be one day.... and together. You have a fine pen...
