God Bless America

God Bless America

World can say, whatever they think

or want, we are born free and ruled

them all, a land blessed by the Lord

our motto is simple, in God we trust

We welcome all religions, respect them

believe in equality, humanity we care

provide asylum to those who need

a land chosen by God, to make him proud

Our men and women in uniforms are

the bravest from all, we don't forget

enemy we find, even we have to invade

a foreign country, we hunt them down

Donations, aids and charities we provide

still those countries treat us like ungrateful wives

we stand with weak, fight most evil enemies

which are barbarians, untamed beasts and freaks

Lord be with our leaders, give wisdom to all

let all of us be united, like one strong family

we are proud to be Americans, because

in freedom we believe, God bless America

Till there is sun, moon and stars, I pray to God

my flag stay on top, until the end of time let USA

be blessed with Prosperity, one strong united nation

the leader of the world, hear my little prayer my Lord!

I like that this view is positive. So many people complain about how terrible it is. I am always like, yes no one is perfect and the past was unfair and unkind, but we are moving in the right direction. And look at the rest of the world. There's so much disease, famine, genocide, infanticide, war and poverty! I tell people that we are spoiled. They have no idea what harsh conditions are ad are lucky to not have bombs blowing up innocent homes and kids. Thanks for writing.

A fine tribute to your country Sir, effervescent with patriotic pride and noble spirit and indeed similar to my own country ( N.Ireland ), I too am grateful for our liberty, independence and freedom of speech and thankful of the gallant sacrifice of those who bravely stood up against tryanny and oppression so we all can enjoy such privilege !

I fee,l the same about Britain. Yes, it has it's faults but to paraphrase that famous saying, "You can't please all the people all of the time..........etc.". Compared with some parts of the oppressed world, we are fortunate.
It's good to see that this is appreciated by your approach in this poem.

When a world is messed up learning about the world as divided and that wealth will cure squalor and desecration well I might add The states did bring about greatness yet it was always undermined (go figure)
If lessons are learnt why do nations still 'prosper'?.......
