Moments Are Alive

Moments Are Alive

A Poem by Anand Sehgal

Moments are colliding against
each other,
everywhere in the time space,
every now and then .

Some are dying ,
Some new are being born.
Moments are coming out of their own wombs,
Triggering a hyper-evolution.

Moments are random ,
Some are losing their way ;
Some are coming back to the right track.

Moments are entities too;
Some are being forgotten ,
Some are becoming endearing in-laws .
Moments, in a nutshell , are
very much like us.

Alert, awakened ;
 In need of proper treatments -
That is how the moments are.

This reminds me of the movie 'Crash,' starring Sandra Bullock, the only similarity being how things collide into one another; or in the case of the movie, they crash. Things seemingly unrelated, always are; and those that you hate the most end up rescuing you in the end. If moments don't collide, we're not living. The alternative would be still and silent.

The ending is a perfect summation: how we must handle with proper care.

And every moment counts. Every one has an effect on the next and we must cherish each one. Very wise life advice here, Anand. Lydi**

great write! reminded me of something I read once, that in an astrological sense we are each born to sublimate and perfect the moment in which we were born, with all its implications. Great write!

thank you so much dear. I am honored !
Moments indeed. We are all only what we are in this very moment. Some would argue that there is no tomorrow and there was no yesterday, there is only now...and then now is gone and there is another now. I like the way you've described things here...lots of good connections and ideas in this one.

thanks a lot my friend for the kind review. :)
I like how you seem to describe moments in life, a realistic write. I like this part in the beginning:
"Moments are colliding against
each other,
everywhere in the time space,
every now and then .

Some are dying ,
Some new are being born.
Moments are coming out of their own wombs,"

Wow. This is very poetic and philosophic and in the most mysterious way, I can relate to it! I love the composition of your lines and the mystery it gives. It's wonderful! :)
