Unearthing Life 3

Unearthing Life 3

A Poem by Anand Sehgal

After the last battle had ended ,
the most severe one;
I  entered  into a state of long  passivity,
tastelessness.
I was no more a warrior.

"The recluse" in me  provided me
with a mirror.
I used to sleep a lot, and in my dreams
I used to look at the mirror,
without any wink in my eyes.

With the time passing by ,
The quota of sleep as well as the
taste-gratification
had almost been satiated .
My mind got rewired
,
my thoughts got rearranged.

The body -mind-soul  gradually started getting ready for the
'Final Frontier'.

The 'Revival ' was inevitable.
There is no choice.
One has to continuously fight ;
Fight very well to get things done in the desired way.

life will win battles against us, but if our heart and desire are strong enough, we will keep fighting to win the war of success...we get knocked down, everyone does, but it is how we get up that matters. How we move on.
