India Diary 3

A Poem by Anand Sehgal

The wax that came down to the base of the cup ,
in which the vermilion candle was lit ,
created a new candle .
Just like the life itself,
the light giver re-solidified
with time.

Thanks much Poppy :) A few words about life :)
Very wise words and they show you are truly a poet....you see life a bit differently than others. The picture you paint with your words is so lovely. Lydi*

Yes, it created a new life. This more like a statement of reality than a poem. I almost have a peek on my candle cup again. well done

The poem speaks to me of the perpetuity of life, of giving and receiving and continuity. Great images evoked!
