LAST GOODBYE

LAST GOODBYE

A Poem by Anita Singh

Let’s talk so soft

the right of sense the warmth of touch

from millions miles distance you've come

millions hours waiting my soul is numb

do you know i never change?

Do you stay the same?

Let’s hug so tight

this feeling is deep the moment is right

my fingers move through your hair

don’t you know how much i care?

Your embrace is so hot

do you miss me a lot?

Let’s dance so close

thanks for the jasmine thanks for the rose

we know we beg this love for more

but you are not mine anymore

for someone has won your heart

feels like wounded with thousands darts

Let’s kiss so sweet

tastes like for ages we don’t meet

i know you still love me

and i wait for you till i die

dreaming you are back in my arms

keeping this love and leaving no harm

Let’s forgive and forget

forgiving my deepest love that makes you sad

forgetting our love story we should not regret

I wish I could erase the date first time we met

Let’s say goodbye

we must desert it and never asking why

I look after this feeling in dainty

I keep your name in my solitary

if someday I’ll meet you in another destiny

would you remember me?

Wow.... I must tell, I almost cried with this beautiful piece...
It touched my feelings, my heart, my soul. It described what I once felt, and what I still feel.
I love Its rhythm, it's so melancholic and soothing at the same time. Its sad, deep and breathless.
I certainly would dedicate this poem to that very special girl which I once I held hands.
I certainly would use this poem as lyrics, cause there is a magical, realistic, sadly true and romantic sound.
I certainly would qualify this poem as one of my favorite (since this very moment).
I specialy loved this lines:

"Let’s forgive and forget
forgiving my deepest love that makes you sad
forgetting our love story we should not regret
I wish I could erase the date first time we met"

It remembers me so many things, because I once thought that too. That maybe it would have been better never knowing her...
In other words, I feel so identified with this poem.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Fernando

A amazing poem. I like the description of the talk, embrace, dance and the kiss. The nice flow of thoughts led the reader to a sad ending. Hope for a another time leave us wishing for the nights and days to never end. I did like the question at the end.Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Oh dear! You make me misty... Rolling tears of two from my eyes. Such a sencible and touching poem you have made. Great read.
