Song of Nightingale

Song of Nightingale

A Chapter by Arthur Henn

Song of Nightingale

This second day in January,
It rains outside the windows of his mind.
He sees it turn into a feather of white snow
Snow falling onto roof tops and all
Its a white wonderland of magic
It will carpet the desert floor in such a way
A way of beauty that will brighten their eyes.

His mind drifts with that of night
Her mind flows with that of nightingale
European songbird
Songbird noted for its
Melodious nocturnal song
Song of what their minds hear this night
Song of the way hearts love one another.
