I am a fool!

I am a fool!

A Poem by Arundass TP
"

In this foolish world

"
Nameless am I?
You called me this and that.
Never comply with my soul
I am nameless!

I have a heart to love and hate
A face to express emotions
From an underlying ocean of feeling's
Those are all nameless!

I may not want to talk!
You made me talk unnecessarily
Swimming in the ocean of words
Never I expected while i was born

I can walk, run, climb and swim
In a fraction of second i think
You made me thinking in words
And you made me climb a ladder.

I have eyes to see
You showed me forms
Putting names you taught
All these names are misplaced once.

I am not grateful to anyone
I am not inspired by anyone
I am a fool in this foolish mad world
Full of characters, words and punctuations.

Nameless I am born
Nameless I will die
In the world of foolishness
Where names are just signs

We are what we want to display and perhaps, are judged accordingly. Or perhaps in this hustle buttle world, we are briefly seen but rarely felt or understood. Your words have meaning that needs be Fools explored.. have tried my best but could read again.

Fools are called fools because others know no better. The self-named fool knows his worth will be recognised by remaining silent.

This feels to me as though you resent being put down by someone who has labelled you as a fool.
You reacted by asserting yourself and rejected being thought of as only a simple everyday name.
This makes me wonder if your wife is POed that you forgot to help her clean up the supper dishes??
Just saying
Have a lovely day

What’s in a name? Nothing…it’s what’s in your soul and how you see your path developing…only you, and it’s nobody else’.business…..you must have faith in yourself to be able exist in this foolish world…which is scary and difficult….dont let yourself be out into positions that are uncomfortable.
Nicely written
Warmly

Sure, I am confident when I am alone. Thank you friend. Have a nice day
This is a very insightful take on the individual human experience. If you haven't already you should check out a book called Simulacra and Simulation by Jean Baudrillard, it's right up your alley I think.

Thank you for refering names of important books available, and thank you for reviewing.
I sense some anger here in these stanzas. I certainly don’t believe you to be a fool. I see you on a pathway doing your own thing, not wanting interference. I like what I read here. Be yourself always Arundass.

I don't see the speaker as a fool...I see the speaker as someone accumulating wisdom maybe a little too late in life to change the path...
And maybe the nameless will inherit the earth rather than the meek.
This piece really moved me.

Perceptions define us in others eyes - right or wrong... and our perceptions define others (to us). A sad but true commentary.

A somber piece here. The speaker seems to be addressing some nameless other whom he feels has been controlling his life in many ways. The bitterness here is almost palpable, the speaker blaming the other for all his troubles. He seems to loathe both himself and life and claims he will die as nameless as he was at birth. This is not one you read for pleasure or reassurance.

i felt reading this as if the world was the thing holding you back.
the world was limiting you, making you a fool. when are not.
this stanza here:
"I can walk, run, climb and swim
In a fraction of second i think
You made me thinking in words
And you made me climb a ladder."
