The world unknown

The world unknown

A Poem by Arundass TP
"

Known by mind

"
When I looked inside a well
I saw a face smiling
No body, No legs
Hanging on rope tightly.

When I looked second time
I saw the head climbing
No body, No legs
Climbing slowly with hands.

When I looked third time
I saw it talking aloud
NO body, No legs
Talking aloud with screeching sound.

When I looked fourth time
I saw face disappeared
No body, Nn legs, No head
Just hands climbing the rope

When I looked fifth time
I saw nothing coming
Behind there heard murmurs
Just wishes, wishes and wishes.

When I turned around
A nude lady talking without head
Did i jumped inside well
Did I opened my eyes early morning!

These haunting images provoke the mind asking the meaning of such imagery and metaphors and several appear. I see a mirror in the well. The face is the first window into a person's being, hands are what set us apart having opposable thumbs and then speech, but here just screeching. It is wishes the fill the human mind and drive us to action and invention, desire in the form of a nude woman comes after wishes, because she is headless does this mean women in general? I don't think you had to jump into the well. I think you were already in it and there was no need to open the eyes they were already open. Just my personal interpretation of a wonderful piece

very haunting indeed..... but i can picture all of this every time you peeked into the well... eerie that only arms and hands could be seen, but mystery solved when you looked behind you... still very weird...
certainly inventive...
