They say time heals
But in truth time solely passes
Grief stays with you, pain tends to linger
Even after years
Sometimes it still feels fresh
Yet we all put on a smile and lie
Time heals all wounds.

The littlelest things can spark a memory. I've found in the past it's being reminded then going into a daydream and getting lost, sort of like reading a book and not knowing what you've read a minute ago.

I agree. I feel pain from my moms passing, ang then my dad's that hasn't gone away. It's been well over 10 years.
