BRILLIANT! An hour glass is in waiting, patiently drumming it grains as one by one they move silently near in visibly - sharing is allowed their dream of time and motion. Your words conjur up thoughts. could but would never dare play over and over with one grain's contest without another as if time vying with its length at different times of year or/and life.

'We are the shore of something great': perhaps from which we move forward in time, in discovery? Perhaps.

There is a gentle greatness in simplicity, and even the harshest cliffs turn into soft grains of sand, just give it time. At least, that is what your lines inspired :) Love it
