Prudent Purveyor

Prudent Purveyor

A Poem by Brad Dehler
"

Pg 110; Cantus (book title)

"
What we need is a prudent purveyor
A fingerless wine
    Won't touch you
Useless in panic
Like a kettle
    Whistling before the heat
Do with distinction
Abandon the process

Unfortunately, all we have are kettles that boil over and scream. Future? What future, they will say. It's only ME ME ME ME ME.

Imprudent, indeed.

Thank you Winston. Very good insight to all of this
Is Cantus a book you wrote? I like that useless kettle analogy. Like a pilot light on a stereo while listening to your life.
