Broken

With broken dreams,
And an unkowing of what it means,
My mind travels back to see
Every memory of what we used to be.

I let the tears fall behind open eyes,
With a lot of hurt to disguise.
You were once so real,
With my heart that I let you steal.

The pain was so real.
I didnt know how to deal.
You didnt think of how I would feel.
But now im done and ready to heal.

The pain is gone,
For I have felt it for far too long.
My happiness is coming back,
For it was something I used to lack.
