Always in my mind

Something I needed to tell you

Everyone says that once in your life

You met that person who appears at the wrong moment,

But that feels so right and perfect,

Until you see all the love gone,

All the memories with him in the past,

All the dreams in the middle of the night erased,

All the wishes only simple thoughts,

All the texts and calls on your phone as reminders

Of his existence.

And you are now walking alone

Completely a new person

‘Cause life showed you that he is not the soul

You are going to never forget and let go.

He will never be loved as you did,

But you move on with your mind still thinking about him,

‘Cause, that’s how it happens when you love someone you lost,

And still, care about him even if it feels wrong.
