Billigami

Billigami

A Poem by William Michael Reeves
"

Hi!

"
Let me introduce you to
The one and only
Billigami!
(Folding words since 1982)

~now playing ~

Squares of ideas so big in his head
Unfolding folds to then fold them again
Sheets of emotion that have to be said
Memories too deep, too heavy to pen
Intricate models can barely be read
Syncline AntiMonocline folds flatten
Pleated sentiments in vows to be wed
Wafer thin metaphors creased thick as fen
Concepts so complex they're corrugated
Turning parchment to tears, crying Amen!

~ coming soon ~

Eloquent thoughts folding truths
Into poetry.
Fun love from me!!
(Read them closely, you'll see all the clues)

Author's Note

William Michael Reeves
Yes, I'm very into origami. The pic is one of my sculptures. When Billigami isn't folding words he's twisting wire. ( last time I was on Mars I picked up some seeds. I think the extra oxygen in our atmosphere enhances their growth :)

for those of you who count - Cherrie - the intro and close match and add up to 50. The body is 10 lines 10 syllables. I like that number. Indicates the poem is right. Balanced.

Oooooh!!! so Billigami originally came from ORIGAMI!! I see, I see! and OH yes your "now playing" is so much as an origami, one time feels simple, another time feels complicated, like You were playing with our minds through folding, unfolding, twisting etc... the paper (words) (smart You ha? ;>) B.T.W, I don't count, I flow.... like a mermaid in the Oceannnnnn~~~~ flowsssssss~~~~~

...Memories too deep, too heavy to pen...
This is such a weighted phase. The past can feel so fresh sometimes. Even afters years it can feel like yesterday.

Really like this, like the picture

yes, those sheets of emotion have to be sewn back together after they get torn to bits.
Poetry is such a good way to do that.
Like John said, look forward to the upcoming attractions.
