Rage

Betrayal.

I wish I could have you here

Alone, in my clutches

To drown you in the pain

You caused within my heart.

 

To have you as my sacrifice

As I have sacrificed myself for you

Only to feel broken and used

Like a toy for your entertainment.

 

Mercilessly engulfing me

In the flames of desire and love

And now I am feeling the burn

Cheated and utterly betrayed.

 

How was it? Was I on your mind?

As you exchanged the same bliss

A sinful embrace of love

And intoxicating passionate kiss.

 

Crimson red,

Consumed by the rage

Eating away at the kindness

I have always had within my heart.

 

You have burned me

For the last time

This battle, I will not lose

I will survive the burn.

you have indeed portrayed your anger very well in this.. fury is all you have expressed.. no mercy, so interval for any different emotion. just rage.. see? it always comes down to that, "rage".. after every word, every line, every verse.. such spite and malice.. there is no warmth, no green,

The words brought me in and you held me to the last word. How many times in my life I wanted to seek some kind of repayment for thing done to me. A strong ending to a outstanding poem.
