Just a dance in the clouds, dear lover.

Just a dance in the clouds, dear lover.

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

A new poem.

"
Just a dance in the clouds dear lover

Once I knew wanderlust,
I wanted to swim in the seven seas,
I wanted to find sacred places in our world,
I wanted to dance in the clouds with a kind lady.

The Gypsy man,
now he had the great lakes,
Port Austin and easy dreams.

Once dark poet,
once poet of madness wants,
to be brave again.

He told the Lake St. Clair,
help me find the places of laughter,
show me,
life is more than waiting for death kiss.

He told the rising sun,
send me the barefoot gal,
who love to sing, love to smile.
someone to revive my sleeping mind.

Once upon a blue moon,
he had a wonder,
a girl who loved the star,
loved dancing nude to a Leonard songs.
Made the darkness seem so bright and beautiful.

He told the dancing lake,
tell the lady of the lake.
I am wishing for a brave girl,
someone,
who want just a dance in the clouds,
someone,
to make me laugh and write again.

I want someone to listen to me,
and I will listen to her.

Maybe the next blue moon,
the lady of the lake,
will send me a kind lady.
Together we would sings song to her,
of thankfulness.

Today the old poet,
he is adrift in painted memories and old wishes.
maybe,
the ghost of old lovers,
the ghost of old place, old memories.
Allow us to know.

We had lived and the wishing man.
Can learn wanderlust again,
dance with a kind woman in the clouds again.

Thank you dear Diane. I appreciate the comment.
"He told the dancing lake,
tell the lady of the lake.
I am wishing for a brave girl,
someone,
who want just a dance in the clouds,
someone,
to make me laugh and write again."- I think we all wish for our own version of this beautiful. Loved the ethereal feel of this. Made me feel as though I was adrift atop the clouds, looking down at the earth...

This stanza is also pure poetry,
"He told the Lake St. Clair,
help me find the places of laughter,
show me,
life is more than waiting for death kiss."- Ahh...the longing, the longing for more than that. Amen.
