Do we ask for more?

1- Do we ask for more?

Do we pray for more kisses?

Does love die? Or do we forget was love was.

2- I want to be drunk in love.

I want you crazy and wild in your arms.

I want you to tell me, one more time.

I love you my darling.

3- Tender hands weaved me a meadow of sweet memories,

soft hands interlaced in my fingers, make me believe.

You love me still.

4- You ain't my poetry,

you ain't my love no-more.

You tainted beautiful life with confusion.

Now two strangers are walking away.

Love often fails because we want the thrilling, rose-tinted, romantic side of it but fail to give it back the loyalty it requires in order to be longstanding. We become strangers because we never truly loved. We were just enjoying a brief, adventure together. This poem is so sad and moving, dear Coyote.
