Angela

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

We can fall so low and deep. Need someone to pull us up to see daylight.

            Angela

Her beauty has lessen with time.
The circle of darkness surround her beautiful blue eyes.
Lack of sleep and proper diet.
Left her beaten, betrayed and dreams limited to daily survival.
In her 21 years of life.

Her blue eyes brought me to her.
Her long legs that went on for miles.
Were still temptation for the soul wanting too little now.

Her fearless eyes turn soft as she tremble in the face of tenderness.
I tell her please stay with me. We will have no secrets.

I have been living on borrow kisses, loan embraces and leased love.
I whisper I have been waiting for you.

We have nothing to lose.
All we have is painful and harsh desires that brought us together.

Sweet Angela looks into my eyes.
Searching.

She tells me I'm dirty with sin.
I have abandon all who have try to love me.
I don't deserve you.
Her hand holding my hand so tightly.

I whisper my fallen Angel.
There are few saints anyway.
I will take you places you have never been.
We will walk on long beaches.
Drink wine and talk till the sun falls into the sea.
I will hold you like you were my first love.

When the dusk come.
We eat and talk.
Fall on my soft bed.
I will find your secret softness.

I will whisper a liar pray.
Tell you how beautiful and wonderful you are.
I will explored you with delight and discover all your  hidden secrets.

I look into  her blue eyes as her slender body move over my flesh.
 A small tear appear.
She whisper I will leave before the morning light.

I smile and caress her beautiful face.
Whisper we have lost nothing.
I just wanted to see your smile and hear your voice.

I will be here when you need me.
Angela kisses me and lays her head into my chest.

Featured Review

Sometimes in life you fall and sometimes you are just lucky enough to have that special someone who helps you along. I loved the lines:
"I have been living on borrow kisses, loan embraces and leased love.
I whisper I have been waiting for you."
Beautifully written. Loved it.

There is a belief that if a person doesn't have someone to share their shame and confort them when they go elsewhere for their pleasure that it is dirty and sinful. The truth is that men go else where with little if any dirt on themselves where as the woman is sinful and dirty; a type of dirt that cannot be washed. This is a wonderful work with many images that flow from one line to the next but it seemed one sided to me. I guess my old age has landed me right in the middle of a confused mess. I only hope the woman in this prose is happy in the end.Great read!

Its such a short poem but such a long story! I think its amazing how you helped Angela find herself again and showed her the good things in her life when she was at the start so low! Great writing! :)

I didn't expect it to end the way it did, the poem/story holds the reader, just like a good work should.
