Torn Angel

Torn Angel

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

We must be kind to people. Enough negative folks in this world.

"

Torn Angel

My  broken Angel.
Please smile for me.
Stay with me at the sea all night.

Your world has fallen apart.
You don't know right from wrong.
Desperate acts had left you feeling
dirty and insulated from everyone.

Please take my hand.
Walk with a man who swims in s**t most
of his life.

There's no angels on this Earth.
Only us struggling to make amends.

We all must do things we are ashamed of.
The world isn't clean anymore.
Not enough helping hands.

There is no pity for the people in plight today.
I know we get fatigue and humiliated to
believing we are worthless and destitute.

My wounded Angel.
Please take my hand.
Walk with a contaminated man.
Jaded kisses and broken promises had
left me empty.
The not so sweet taste of life has turn me bitter.

Sad Angel whispered.
"I'm a dumping ground for men
who want to use and abuse.
I don't mean much to no-one."

I  touched her face.
I told her.
We must ascend from the malingering hell.
Leave the one's who want you  begging for mercy.
In a shadow of our memories.

There is  no easy road.
Sometime we must get up.
Tell the world to back away.

Find a better path to be on.
Kinder people.

Torn Angel walk with me.
Take my hand.
The new day is rising from the East.

From the beginning to the end, this inspired me... We have times when we feel worthless, and when someone is there to hold our hand it helps ease the pain...the walk of life is so much better when we have someone kind enough to show they care. Lovely write!

I like this a lot! this mini stanza is my favorite :) :Ain't no angels on this Earth.
Only us struggling to make amends.
Also, "fell" should be "fallen" in the beginning, great write!

(Your reviews are so good, and mine suck, sorry :( )

Truely Inspiring and heartfelt, with such raw emotions and concepts so intricate I doubt I truly understand the meaning behind it. Beautiful. Thank you.

I really relate to this piece. Its both forlorn in its observations of the harshness of the world, yet uplifting in its lovely assertions of love. You've written this beautifully. Thank you so much for sharing.

This poem is filled with comfort and love. It is about two people who greatly relate to eachother from the torment they have endured. They give eachother strength. Amen, we do need friendship to make us stronger. I have been blessed enough to finally find friends who have succeeded in helping out of the deepest depths of hell. When I was very sudicial I thought about them and it stopped me..."Sad Angel whispered.
I'm a dumping ground for men
who want to use and abuse.
I don't mean much to no-one."
I have felt like this for almost my whole life. No more though. I am no longer a dumping ground for no one. I block those poisoness people out of my life. I have a guy in my life who is my best friend and one of my angels, maybe that is why I no longer feel like a dumping ground for men to use and abuse. I very much relate to the torn angel in this poem so this is especially comforting for me. I love the conclusion it is one of hope and new begginnings, really loved this poem, 100

I love how you write
"Ain't no easy road."
And then string words together like
"We must ascend from the malingering hell."
Simply put yet more intricate than we, as readers, will ever understand.
Wonderful, yet again :)
