If you ever ask "then what?" Told to my children when they were young. Back then I worked for the Police Depart and all fairy tales had a police theme. Written down for my grandkids

"Felicia Goldi Locks, you are so charged with breaking and entry, as well as, destruction of private property! How do you plea?" Boomed the grand owl judge.

"Not guilty", squeaked Goldi Locks.

"So be it. Let the proceedings begin. " The judge bellowed.

Papa bear whispered in the ear of the fox, and the whole forest was very still to hear what would be next.

"Is it true, on the first day of spring, you entered the home of the three bear’s without invitation?" Asked the fox.

"Well yah, see," said Goldi Locks.

"Yes or no" Stated the fox.

"Yes" she mumbled.

"And did you eat the porridge of mama bear, after papa bear’s bowl was broken?" Pointed the fox to exhibit "A" which was a broken blue bowl.

"Well I was hungry," Said the girl.

"Yes or no Miss Locks!" Sneered the fox.

"I did, yes." She confessed.

"Then after robbing the bear’s of their breakfast did you then break baby bear’s chair? As if, breaking the bowl of papa bear wasn’t enough!" Badgered the fox.

"Yes", she cried.

"What of my down comforter?" shouted mama bear caught up in the moment.

Two mice and raccoon gasped at the confession, a rooster let out a cackle in protest. Why, the three bear’s were the most liked family around, even the honeybee’s were offended. Over come with his emotions, a small chipmunk through an acorn at Goldi. He had  great aim; it hit her right in the forehead. Her eyes flew wide in disbelief, and gently she rubbed the small red spot, it left behind.

"There will be none of that." Said the Judge, as his feathers fell to the ground.

"Is anyone here to speak in your behalf?" Asked the fox, peering over his spectacles as the Wise old owl looked down from his lofty perch, with a "who".

Miss Locks only shook her head. The jury kept perfect time with Goldi, as they too shook their heads along with her. The judge gave a nod to the bailiff, Billy Porcupine, who had Miss Locks stand. The big bad wolf stood in the ready, just incase, this turned into a capital offence. Capital crimes are umm, umm good thought the wolf.

"Guilty" bellowed the judge. "You will spend the next thirty days making a bowl for Mr. Bear and a chair for little Charlie Bear. Which will be payment in full to the three bear’s, for your crime." His command was echoed with a loud blow from his gavel.

From that day forward the three bear’s locked their front door, before going for a stroll, and Roco the guard dog keep an eager watch over their humble home.

I really liked this piece. I love the imagination put into it that answers, "Then what happened?" The only problem I had was the phrasing: a little choppy at times, like when the Owl says 'You will spend the next thirty days making a bowl for Mr. Bear and a chair for little Charlie Bear. Which will be payment in full to the three bear’s, for your crime." I think the second sentence should be seperated with a comma. But other than that, I loved it, good job!!!

Then what happened? *all excited*

I do have a thing about children's stories. And you do have a talent for them. I'm sure you could put together a book of these ones. It was very amusing =)
