RippledA Poem by Cherrie Palmera swan upon the waterDark ashen body of glass, gently rippled by waft of wing, Your leaden hue of gray is captured in memory. As her stark white fledge of flight permits her to gently
above you glide. The reflective powers of both moon and sun add green and
blues to her boundaries. They do convey said silhouette of her poise descending. Dancing images of who she is matches her every cue With much élan her tips do trace the surface of her canvas And the sheer beauty of the swan leaves us breathless. © 2012 Cherrie PalmerReviews
