Love Winks

Love Winks

Love Winks

Every morning I walk the edge of the woods,

The rising shining sun winks at me passing behind trees,

We play our game as a ritual or a prayer,

We love our hellos and goodbyes,

Awaiting morning’s glaring flares,

Love is everywhere and nowhere.

Playing hide and seek,

I will find you, will you blink a wink?

I have become an insomniac, anticipating attention,

but like a train,

I can change my tracks.

To find you wherever you may go,

The roaring whistle of love loudly blows.

Just wrote this morning as I walked with my dog by the forest behind our home. Any suggestions are always welcome. Hope it's alright! Thank you for reading, I so appreciate it. Special thanks to Ana Sophia, she looked it over, gave me the courage to post it. Thanks.

Loved this one to.
Your rhyming is so great, it seems like it comes naturally doesn't feel forced, which is great.
This seems pretty romantic again, I love a bit of romance :)
but like a TRAIN,
I can change my tracks.
Really liked that part fr some reason, just thought it was cleaver.
Great write :)

You miggled nature and lov together, the product of tenderness, feelings, and nature's clarion call. Your last stanzas carries the weight of this poem. Love is not only found in humanity, nature is a product of love, and has inspired billions of writers. Well done.

You're welcome.
Honestly I would skip the daytime if I could all the magik happens in the twilights, midnights, and dawns quite frankly this poem reminds me of myself I would wake up early in the morning in the dew stained world and walk through the trees watching the morning sun filter through. It's been a long time since I've thought that memory thank you for refreshing it
