Cravings for Peace

Cravings for Peace

A Poem by Confuser
"

Just thoughts about God; seeking peace in our world, in our mind, heart and soul.

"

Captivity Released ……to

Satisfy peace we may feel the sting

The buzzing of a honey bee can bring

But without this pain we cannot sing

Sweet glorious melodies nature’s harmony brings

Kind spirit leads us calling out our name

Heed the call - compassion sprinkles generously upon us all

Taking us to places we never thought possible - through love’s creative

Wisdom forgiving and guiding uniting us together revealing our power

Remembering who we are ego’s shame cowers into the grave

Believe in yourself and in God’s giving grace- return a glance and peace will remain

Look with open hearts deep into the soul belief and faith infinitely grows

It will never let go forever growing stronger Like a Mourning Dove sounds, enveloping our forest’s echoing for love all instincts of death forgone above

The hawk‘s piercing cry can come anytime but for love he calls without resign; no worries can enter a peaceful mind

A most provocatively thought provoking write ... To be worry free is to truly live free ... At the same time life presents worries that must be dealt with whether we like it or not ... But why worry more than need be ... I really like this piece, as I love all of your heart penned to page ... You make me think, contemplate, and wonder in the wonderment of it all ... Grand write ...

Dale, Only one suggestion: make sure tenses match. If the subject is singular make sure that the verb agrees with that. A few small mix-ups with the verb tense. Other than that, I really like the way your writing has shifted gears lately; you're working in a lot of internal rhyme schemes that make the write flow much more smoothly, a very very strong sentence construction. Your wordplay (never mind any rhymes) is excellent, you really seem to have upped your game a notch when it was already fine to begin with. I always enjoy seeing fellow writers seeming take a leap on to a new, higher plane of writing...and that seems to be what you have achieved. GREAT WORK! take care...dan

No doubt as a singer i loved the given lines,

But without this pain we cannot sing
Sweet glorious melodies nature’s harmony brings

I know it without pain ,one can't sing as good as he can touch the soul of listener.

But the best part of the poem was,

Believe in yourself and in God’s giving grace-
return a glance and peace will remain
Look with open hearts deep into the soul belief and faith infinitely grows.

It is very true what you told here, that believe in yourself and God's giving grace.

Believe is a very big word with big meanings to it, whatever God has given us is enough to make us special and unique. Everyone is unique ,but one must believe in himself and and his God.

Again very well written. Thankyou.
