Chapter 3

When my vision came back I was staring up at the ceiling and Drake’s face is right above mine.

“Oh dude what the hell?!?” I groaned

“Hit me EVER again,” he said through clenched teeth, “and I WILL kill you!” Now I was scared more than anything else. Drake didn’t look like himself he looked like an animal

“Okay sorry I lost it for a second.” Suddenly my best friend was looking at me and not a caged beast.

“I did too sorry.” he said helping me up. Suddenly the pain returns and I fall onto my bed

“Sorry man.” he says sheepishly 

“It was my fault no biggy.” But it was because my nose felt like it was on fire. Not wanting to act like a p***y I decided to forgive and forget

For about two more hours Drake and I played video games and watched YouTube videos. But we can’t stare at dancing cats (even though that’s not what we watch) forever so he got bored and left.

“S**T I forgot to ask him for the homework!” I race out the door slid down the rail and zoomed out the front door. But Drake was nowhere in sight.

“Damn that kids fast.” Giving up I head back inside. Huh. Maybe I am going to fail.
