The Reaper

The Reaper

A Poem by Dark Beauty

Reaper's depth
ebb and flow
the crisp cold transforms me
contemplation of death so sweet
that cease the flowers forever more

Stagnation untwisted
sheaths fall away
uncovering my darkened beauty
ravish the thoughts of day
dust rise upon my darkened reigns

Unlocking the gate
rusted old chains break
welcoming this death
I search no more
uncovered anew
Reaper's death

I breath once more
with blackened breath
a bitter lust
Death is painless as I laugh
no more fight upon my soul
Reaper's depth consumed me
As I have let go

I wonder how you take your coffee? Sunrise or sunset moments and kitchen tables - shared or silent stared.
