Don't Ignore This; Just Read It!

Hey, girls! You know what? You're beautiful, no matter what! You don't have to have blonde hair, blue eyes, sun-kissed skin, huge double d's, or be toothpick-thin! In the words of Bruno Mars, you're amazing, just the way you are!

So, you say you wish to look like a model? Oh, that's interesting. To achieve that, just stop eating. Get a breast and butt reduction so that you're totally flat. Get your knees done to be way too tall. Completely blow yourself out of proportion! Then, you can be a model!

Yea, don't do that. Because you're gorgeous just how you are. It doesn't matter if you have a 25-inch waist, or a 55-inch waist; you're stunning. Any guy would be lucky to have you.

So stop starving yourself; health is beautiful. Stop tanning in a bed; no one wants a fried girlfriend. Quit with the colored contacts; your natural eyes are perfect for you. Don't pile on the makeup; your last name is not Crayola. No more plastic surgery and implants and fillers; people are made of flesh and blood and bones... Not silicone. Stop covering yourself with short sleeves and long, baggy pants everyday; let your beautiful skin, whether it be naturally dark, incredibly light, or covered in freckles, shine through. Why? Because you are perfect.

Guys, the same goes for you! Tanning isn't cool; pale skin is just as beautiful as tan. Long workouts that only exhaust and overwork you aren't gonna get you a girl. You don't have to be perfectly muscular. It's okay. We love you just the same. Any girl that won't like you if you're not toned and sculpted, doesn't love you; she just loves your muscles.

That gel... Stop. Your hair is fine! You don't have to look like you have damp hair, and it doesn't always have to be spiked up and hardened by product! Chill out! We love you, even if your hair isn't fixed and primped.

Don't change the person you truly are. By that, I mean that you're not going to get a girl just by being a jerk to her. That actually drives us away. Be yourself, no matter how nerdy, sweet, romantic, or sensitive that means you're going to be.

All in all, you're all beautiful no matter what anyone says. There will always be that one person that thinks you're perfect, just the way God made you.

Why you gotta hate, bro? It has a sincere message and I worked on it for a long time. It's mine and I think it's perfect and if you don't like it, HOP OFF MY PAGE. And I'll quote whoever the heck I want to, it isn't your choice. I'll write whatever the heck I want to, because again, it isn't your choice. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder; my eyes find this to be wonderful. So hop off, will ya? K. Thanks. Bye.

I think this is really cliche and that kind of makes it a bit ironic. I think you should write a blog if you want to write like this. A story has plot and characters and development and this really has none of that. I'm not trying to "hate, bro" but you could use this passion in a more intelligent way.

I agree with you, we shouldn't pretend to be who we aren't in order to be with someone, but I must say I also partially agree with this Lynx guy - most of the world really became shallow enough to look at it that way, and that is very sad. I'm a good, kind and honest guy, but I know from personal experience that, by itself, it doesn't get you far, at least not in my country.
But I like your message a lot, and it would be awesome if people paid attention to it. That way you'd be able to break some of that shallowness we see every day.
Excellently done! :)

@Rae, definatly one of your best pieces! And a best seller! I think you should write more stories about this! Its really good! Your becoming a better writer everytime you put your hands on the key board!!! I totally agree with you!!!!!!! And I am going to send a read request to all of my friends!!!!!

@Lynx, oh... dear, dear Lynx... This is what our generation has come up of... a stupid shallow world, that doesn't realize how beautiful you and everyone else is! God made us who we are, and I'm proud!!!!!! He wants me to be me, and not what I want to be!!! I can't chose my future! I don't know what is going to happen in the next minute! He wants me to be me, and you to be you! The point of this story is to feel good about ourselves, and you only see the words, and you don't put it in your heart... wow... you seriously need some help...

@ Rae,OMG, wow! This isealy good! Lately, I've been down on myself, but this just BROUGHT ME UP!!!!!!!! Thanks, Rae, this made my day better!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Lynx, what the HECK, dude? What possessed you to write so much hatred? God made us who we are and what HE wanted us to be! We shouldn't change ourselves! Infact, we are beautiful, just the way we are! Also, maybe you should like... oh, IDK, SHUT UP!!!! I know its your right to say whatever you want but haven't you've heard "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say ANYTHING AT ALL!!!" Did your mom eer teach you MANNERS? Sorry for being a jerk about this, but Rae was trying to help us with our stupid insecureities!!!!! So, I guess basically, your saying that feeling good about ourselves is wrong! Well, go away from your computer, and mumble about how stupid it is to thank the Lord for who we are!!!!!!!!!

I usually don't read stories, but i'm glad i did ! I agree with the message and i'd love if everyone agreed too, sadly we do live in a world that gives too much attention to appearance :(
Great job =D

Wow, what a powerful and uplifting write! We live in a shallow world, this is true, but why? Because people continue to hold the mindset and judge people based on their shell. Real beauty comes from the inside. Real beauty comes from who you are, flaws and all. If you are judging people based on the superficial then you are only perpetuating your own low self esteem. We all hold our own unique beauty and if you have to hide behind a mask, then how do you expect anyone else to see the true beauty that lives within you?
This rocked! Thank you for sharing your wisdom and strength!
