Anticipation

When i was young, i looked forwad to life.
Filled with anticipation, walking in carefree strides.

Now my vitality is exhausted,
& Death has been hosted,

But still, my lost anticipation has revived
& my old mind is trying to derive,
What interesting is waiting for me in afterlife.

This reminds me of a friend who died of cancer. For 40 years of his life he was non-religious then when disgnosed he bought every book he could find in the local stores, on the afterlife (and he made a deathbed confessional to the priest).
