Rusted World

Rusted World

A Poem by AcasualPawn
"

Dream of a blind kid comes true, but there is more to it.....

"
Darkness my phobia,
empty' isolated' dumb' rejected.
Sole possession of me,
my only buddy.

morning arises in darkness
night ceases in darkness..

My fantasy' dream' desire
to appraise & admire,
heavenly world entire.

May be god becomes kind,
with a letter i got donated eyes

But first thing i saw with my eyes,
are few words of advise.

THIS WORLD
IS SO CRUEL
AND I DON'T WANNA
SEE IT ANY MORE

Whoa.. The last stanza was rather chilling... It puts a darker twist in this already dark poem(no pun intended)
A very powerful poem indeed

A beautiful start and a tragic end, loved the flow of this and the twist at the end.

I like turn at the end. THERE are a lot of terrible things to see. Unfortunately, not seeing them doesn't make them go away. I like your point though--tragic

Yes this world have so many cruel sides indeed. But there is also so many light sides. We should catch our inner and spread all over in whole universe. Very vivid imaginery in your words.

I like the idea and theme of this poem. It is influential as well as emotional.
A blind cannot see the beautiful world with his eyes. Yet ironically a vietnamese poet during Vietnam war said that I'll be rather blind than witness the oppression(of colonialism).
Well done!

Thanks for understanding Tazeen
Your poem makes a big impact! But I suppose seeing the world as cruel, may be better than seeing it through rose tinted glasses. Or, even, better than only seeing what you want to see! But, as the young blind boy said, 'My fantasy dream desire to appraise and admire heavenly world entire', so we can all dream on.
I look forward to reading more of your poems.
