Vampire Inc. [1]

I ran though the dark forest. The air in my chest as if burned. I did not know either where I am or how I got there, but one I knew for sure �" I had to leave now. In this rather quickly. On land there were many fallen branches. Hear the bend in my legs as I ran. Bushes scratched me �" clothes, body, face… I had bloody scratches everywhere.  I felt confused. As if I was not myself. Maybe they drugged me before they bring me here. Who? Why? This game was it? I could not concentrate. And I did not have time for that. I do not know if it was because of my confusion, but I had the feeling that someone watching me. It was just a feeling. Frightened me even more. I tried to run faster, but I had more strength. I tripped and fell. I hit my leg. I could barely breathe. I tried to stand but couldn’t. I had no more strength. Gripped in the land. Hot tears ran down my face and blended with the blood. My face burned because of the scratch.

 

I didn’t know what to do. I began to wonder whether it is best to quit. What could I do? Could I fight? How, after I not even know against whom to fight? I cried. I could not say a word. The whole my body ached. Then I heard something. Steps. Approached slowly. Whoever it was, he or she doesn’t hurry. He knew that I could not escape. I was trapped. I do not lift my head. He stood before me. I saw his shoes. So I knew that was a man. Obviously it was rich because the shoes looked expensive. And somehow I would say unused.
