In The Thick Of It

In The Thick Of It

A Chapter by Dina

You had sirens
And temptresses
Spread along the velvet
On the love chair
In the south of France

They murmured your name
And you couldn’t tell the difference
Between love and praise
So you’ve been led astray again

And I had a feeling
You were in the dark
There are no hard feelings
Still keep you in my heart

Cause the New York wind
Gets so cold
Almost leaves no room to feel
But the tingle
It reminds me I’m real

I’m running again
But don’t worry
I’m ridding all my sins

Preparing for the thing
That’s possibly coming
