Author's Note

I'm a frustrated song-writer. Never learned to read notes or play instruments. The guitar I was using for music class in first year high school got stolen, too. But I've been writing a few musical-ish stuff anyway. ***Just about all feedback welcome.***

I imagined this to be sung in a sort of country accent.
Something I've listened to near the time I wrote this was Taylor Swift's "Picture to Burn;" particular lines that influenced me were "I really, really hate that, stupid old, pick-up truck, you ne-ver let me drive".
(Side note: I don't know anything about music, but I admire some of her compositions for having poetic strength, something this piece lacks coincidentally.)

Well, I play the guitar and the piano, I imagine a clean tone electric guitar for this song, using arpeggios mostly, and building it uo as the song progresses adding bass and drums by the second verse, or at least thats the way I just visualized it

I try imagine which type of music can be use. Only what i figured out. It's Inuit throat singing. There i8s lot pauses in between that can be use to get breath for next stanza. I like it how it's can sounds with no can get higher in my immiginations. Meaning is clear friendship and it's got very straight lines and also you let reader wonder what happen. If i do song i will be do without pass just let flow words like a music. Thats my opinion .

The try was nice although I expected you to be better than this. Your other poems were far excellent but this song is i cant tell.... The fact is i cant decipher its meaning. If you can confide in me the meaning of the song, I may be able to give some advice, although its me who is like a student to you.

Hi. Yes, I admit this is one of my weaker poems.... I wanted it to be about the persona talking to somebody who was "user-friendly" or someone who acts a friend out of necessity (e.g. need to ask a favor), in other words a fake friend. Other than the line cuts I'm not so sure myself how much of a poem this is.
Also, keep feeling free to comment! I accept comments from everyone and really appreciate it.
