Take me to Neverland.

Take me to Neverland.

A Poem by Mak(ayla:)

Take me away from here.
This God awful place.
I don't want to grow old
And lose all sense of inner child.

Take me to a land
Where I can read to the lost boys,
And fight pirates all day.
To fly with Tinkerbell
For this be the land
That I do seek.

Take me to Neverland.
Where we can be young together.
I can be your Wendy,
If you'll be my Peter Pan.

If you remain young forever, your life will be ruled by the fear of growing old. Nice.

Mixture of a child's thoughts with an adult's perspective. Very interesting!

Sweetest simplicity to wash away the dark stains of pain that seem to blind us as we grow older. May we all find the second star on the right, and go straight on till morning. xo
