A poem without constancy,

Whatever will you do,

Maybe greet me with how do'ya do.

I will try something different, I shall,

Maybe so,

Lets try something different and see how it goes,

This poem will be mixed,

I have no clue why,

Just read it with joy,

And try not to cry.

Maybe you're a poet,

Can you make poems rhyme,

Maybe that doesn't matter,

Should they really,

Be kept in time?

What will people think,

Four lines and then five,

Rhyming then no rhyming,

Will they feel deprived,

They may feel cheated or scarred or more,

Thinking about this will make your brain sore.

Five and then six,

This poem may be mad,

It flows does it not,

But does that matter a lot?

It makes no sense to me,

Maybe to you,

Seriously though I don't have a clue.

I write what I wish,

I wish what I write,

Ideas usually come to me,

In the dead of night,

I may be a poet,

Or not I don't know,

My whole life ahead of me,lets see how it goes.

This is sweeeet!
I enjoyed so much to read this. this is simple yes in wording but inspiring in message, flow, and execution from beginning to end. I want to compare you to a writer, and before anyone implies this to be insulting when I reference a children's author allow me to give my context.

In my childhood up to about the age of eight I never cared much for reading, writing, and most importantly poetry. then came a day in school we were taken into the library for a reading which was normal... however that which was read at least to me was not and never will be less then genius.

It was Shel Silverstien's " Where the side walk ends ". Simply put his original subjects of writing in the sense of what I saw as unconventional blew my mind and his flow to me was masterful. It was like the first time someone had said "hey, you... this is your soul" I dare say you share his gift to make that level of impact on people with works like this.

I mean to convey my absolute love of this piece, and your ability to stoke such great ideals and feelings in people as my inspiration did me. His writings some might describe as child's play but I say a poem about a girl who couldn't be found because her messy room enveloped her written with great flow and even moral of the story aspect being quite creative.

I hope none of this to be mistaken as anything less than heart felt admiration for the beauty of this piece.

A poem, structured or not, is beautiful as long as the poet writes it with pure honesty and love for his/her piece, and as long as the readers can feel anything from the poem.

There are absolutely no rules to poetry, but to write whatever comes from your heart and mind ever so honestly, and you did absolutely that.

A free verse piece that was done splendidly that it made me smile. An amazing write, indeed.

I think that if what you write feels right to you then it's perfect. Not everyone will "get it", and it may not resonate with all readers. But that's ok, because it is your heart and your words regardless of the form, meter and/or rhyme. Sure, we all want to write the most profound words but are words less profound if they don't rhyme or fit a certain format? I think not. I like this very much, because I think you wrote the words that you felt in a way that felt right to you.

Just keep doing what you do.

It is good a structure poem, love how you make the rhyme. But for my opinion in any piece of work of the writer, it should be the spirit or the soul of the write should always be there, it doesn't need to be rhyming all the time but the power of words how it could create build ups that directly connect to the readers. In this piece just my opinion, just want to be honest with you, this piece is perfectly structured and rhyming good. But it doesn't makes a build up in my mind. I can read it over over again but still I can't integrate myself to be with this piece. I want a connection. Seems lacking here. I think you sacrifice a lot of words and thoughts just to meet the structure you wanted with this piece. Keep the fire burning :) I wish i can hear more from you.
