A Poem by Eloquently Erynne

I had another dream last night
Where your dark shadow
And beautiful words
We're swarming me
And keeping the cold out
Like they did that first night I saw you.

I had a dream last night
That your arms were like an army
And it kept all the bad stuff out
You held on tight
And your kisses
Your kisses kept away all the nightmares
For atleast a month or two

I had a dream last night
And I woke up
Thinking of you again
And how i wish you were more of a reality
Than just a dream that happens at night

More reality ?
What happened to , "it`s the journey
not the destination" .
The journey must be our reality,
Sweetheart. When we seek to make
our dreams come real, it all vanishes.
Better to have the dream than ashes.

Just a thought, that`s all.

You are a gifted writer and your poem
is attractively constructed and very
well thought out.

The something more factor is sometimes a hard one to swallow. Though sometimes it is just quality identification. I like this poem and i like the army comparison as i've never seen that before. Keep writing.
