Puzzle

Puzzle

A Poem by Eloquently Erynne

reality has become nothing more than a guessing game these days

hints

here and there

waiting paiently.....

anxiously awaiting the next big sign to come your way

answers never truely ever answered

questions that only lead to more unanswerable questions

clues given out here and there

only leaving you waiting for the next one to come

so you can wait for the next one to come

a whirl of confusion constantly clouding youre ever move

its like being thrown into really deep water

blindfolded

left on your own to figure out

which way is up and which way is down

before its too late

and youre left there

motionless

floating steadily to the bottom you were too blinded to find on your own

lifes that that 1000 piece puzzle  you tried to complete as a kid

hours that turn into days spent searching for piece after piece

just to complete the picture

just to be able to be proud that you did it on your own

to only find out youre missing half the pieces

and itll never become complete

lifes merealy a complex compilation of the moments you cherish

the tears you shed

the scars you carry as that small reminder

of the battles youve fought

the love youve shared

and the love youve lost

lifes merely a game weve all been forced to take a part in

only theres no written rules and the objective constantly changing

before your very eyes

sometimes youre ahead

and sometimes  youre way behind

then

sometimes

youre left there

simply standing still

while everyone else continues to whirl by

leaving you in that state of abandonment

youve become so accustomed to

still waiting for the next clue to come

the next sign to show you some way

or that one puzzle pieve youve been searching for

just to complete the picture

Well, you certainly are eloquent, so it's a very fitting name you have. It's rare to find a writer that can so succinctly touch on everything in general about life, but you've done it. I can sense that you too, are going to be another kick-a*s women in history. Here's to us!
