Little Girl

Little Girl

A Poem by Eloquently Erynne

Small fragile child
the world such a scary place
she hides inside her own mind
and tries her hardest to blend in
with the rest of the world
that always has moved just a
lil
bit
too
fastforhertocomprehenditall
she eventually grows out of the pink bows and dresses
and moves onto clothes that are too tight
yearning for that attention she was so scared of just years before
she has so many secrets
and so many fears
and spent many nights praying just to bleed a lil
so she turns to things and people that eventually break her
pieces now
shes nothing but pieces
shattered across the universe
leaving her all alone again
inside her mind
she barely notices her own reflection anymore
shes just whatever you want her to be
for now
and then shell move on
still searching for all the pieces
she lost long ago
