Time

Time

A Poem by Enjoy

Where once lush forest flourished;

a lifeless copse now defiles:

Time, the hemlock killer,

has claimed another victim.

Where once Amor and Eros entangled,

now a rift divorces,

Time, the supposed healer of wounds,

has claimed another victim.

All that lives shall die, with Time.

You bring truth as it is and that is a very commendable trait. I wonder how this would turn out were you to expand upon it....great job though!

Don't force this on us; right now, I feel like this has so much potential, but it's wrapped up in theme and message and has no room to breathe. Expand. Grow. Be subtle about it. You have some wonderful thoughts, some great phrasing, but it's all so blatant that there's no thought that needs to be put into it. Give us a bit of room to operate ourselves. We'll only respect you for it.

This poem made me think. I've never really looked at the flipside of "time heals all wounds" but your words bring that out and yes, I also agree with what you've said here. Time does heal but it also kills.

Unfortunately you pen much truth. Time the healer? I think I agree more with you.
